Meaux (France) – (Clarity Times)- December 26, 2023 – In Meaux, horror reaches its peak with the macabre discovery of the bodies of a 35-year-old Haitian mother and her two eldest daughters, aged 7 and 10, who were brutally killed with a knife.
Emergency responders, faced with a horrific scene, revealed an unimaginable tragedy. Noé Bafania-Efete, 33 years old, is accused of the brutal murder of his wife and four children.
The mother and her two eldest daughters were shockingly murdered, while the two younger boys appear to have been smothered or drowned.
Born in 1990 in Colombes and a plumber by profession, Bafania-Efete was apprehended in Sevran, where he had sought refuge with his father. Having been monitored for depressive and psychotic disorders since 2017, prescriptions for tranquilizers were found at his home, shedding light on a tragedy fueled by mental health issues.
The city of Meaux is now engulfed in grief, trying to understand how a Christmas Eve could turn into such an unbearable nightmare.
