Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Arrested and Denied Bail on Racketeering and Sex Trafficking Charges

Sean Diddy Comb

NEW YORK, September 17, 2024 – Sean “Diddy” Combs has been arrested and held without bail following serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. Federal prosecutors accuse Combs, 54, of leading a criminal enterprise involved in forced labor, kidnapping, and sex trafficking.

The indictment reveals Combs allegedly used his influence to control and abuse women, employing drugs, financial manipulation, and violence. Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson labeled him a significant threat to the community, citing numerous witnesses and ongoing obstruction of justice attempts.

Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, argued against the bail denial, insisting that his client is not a flight risk and has been cooperative. Despite these claims, Judge Robyn Tarnofsky decided to keep Combs in federal custody, citing the gravity of the charges and the risk of witness tampering. A bail appeal is scheduled for Wednesday.

The arrest follows a series of abuse allegations and legal troubles for Combs, including a recent lawsuit from R&B singer Cassie.
