Concacaf Unveils Action-Packed Schedule for 2024 Champions Cup: The Road to the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup!

Miami, FL (Monday, December 18, 2023) – Concacaf today announced the match schedule for the Round One and Round of 16 of the 59th edition of the Concacaf Champions Cup 2024. This revamped competition, featuring 27 of the top clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, provides an exclusive pathway to qualify for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Twenty-seven of the region’s best clubs will compete for the Confederation title and a spot in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, with the Concacaf champion earning a financial reward of over $5 million. The action kicks off in February 2024, with 22 clubs battling it out in Round One.

The official draw, held on December 13, 2023, determined the matchups for Round One and the Round of 16. Key fixtures to watch include Philadelphia Union versus Deportivo Saprissa, Deportivo Toluca versus CS Herediano, and Club América versus Real Estelí FC.

Following the home-and-away matches in Round One, the winners will advance to the Round of 16, where five pre-qualified clubs will join the eleven victorious teams. The Round of 16, scheduled for March 2024, will set the stage for thrilling encounters leading up to the grand final in June.

This year, Concacaf has significantly increased the financial distributions for all participating clubs, with the champion receiving over $5 million, nearly five times the amount awarded during the Concacaf Champions League era.

Fans can catch all the action on partner broadcasting networks, including FOX Sports | Tubi (USA-English), TUDN | ViX (USA-Spanish), Fox Sports Mexico (Mexico-Spanish), ESPN | Star+ (Central America, the Caribbean, and South America), and Concacaf’s official platforms for other regions (subject to territorial restrictions).

The last edition saw Club León from Mexico claim their first continental title, and this year’s winner will join Club León, Seattle Sounders FC (2022), and CF Monterrey (2021) as representatives of the region at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. The 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup promises fierce competition, high stakes, and unforgettable moments on the road to continental glory.
