Bishop T.D. Jakes, the well-known pastor of The Potter’s House in Dallas, is recovering after experiencing a medical emergency during his sermon on Sunday, November 24, 2024. During the service, Jakes, who was delivering a powerful hour-long message, suddenly paused, lowered his microphone, and began shaking in his seat. His team quickly came to his aid.
In a statement, The Potter’s House confirmed that Bishop Jakes “experienced a slight health incident” and received immediate medical attention. The church assured everyone that Jakes is now stable and under the care of medical professionals.
“We are grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from the community,” the statement read. “Bishop Jakes is in good hands, and we appreciate your continued prayers.”
