Responding swiftly to reports of a man with a suspicious bag making alarming statements about a potential bomb around 5:30 p.m., the Broward Sheriff’s Office Airport District took immediate action.
An urgent radio transmission from an official calling for terminal deputies highlighted the gravity of the situation. The individual was subsequently detained for questioning, leading to the precautionary evacuation while the BSO Bomb Squad investigated.
