ichael as the Jackson 5. Signed by Motown Records in 1969, the group became a pop sensation with hits like “I Want You Back” and “ABC.” Tito played guitar, though session musicians often filled in for studio recordings.
Despite being overshadowed by Michael’s solo career, Tito remained a vital part of the group and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
After the Jackson 5 disbanded, Tito launched a solo blues career in 2003, showing his love for the guitar and music that shaped him. His debut solo album, “I Gotta Play,” came out in 2016, reflecting his deep connection to blues.
